We do everything we can to ensure a happy forever home for you and your pet

CONDITIONS OF ADOPTION

Our main concern is the welfare of the animals. It is important that we match up the right one with the right person/family

As a general rule we don’t home kittens to families with children under 5 years old. All other pets must be neutered and vaccinated. Those renting need to provide a letter from the landlord or a copy of their rental contract that states pets are allowed.

Dogs should generally not be left alone for more than 4 hours and puppies need to be in a home where they are not left for more than two hours

These are all guidelines and if there are some exceptional homes that don’t quite tick all the boxes we will consider them on an individual basis

We would never consider re-homing a rescue dog too a home that breeds or plans on breeding dogs.
It is a condition of adoption that our rescue dogs must live as part of the family and should not be left outdoors on a permanent basis.
If you adopt a puppy/kitten from us, then you must sgree to have them neutered at 6 month at your own expense.

Please contact us below if you are interested in adopting or fostering.

    WHY WE DO HOME CHECKS

We do home checks to make sure that the dog/cat you wish to adopt is the right one for you.

Once you have sent back to us the filled in homing form, we then sort out a time that is best for you to have one of our home checkers pop round to see you for a chat. Home checks are done worldwide and are a case of necessity for the safety of the animal and for you and your family.

There has been many cases in the past where rescues/shelters etc have sent their animals off to what they think is a great forever home, only to have the dog back in a week because of no home check had been done and information regarding the animal had been ignored.

Unfortunately some people do not tell the truth on their homing form and what they feel is just a small white lie could be a very big issue for the dog that they require.

    For Example:

we need to make sure that if on a dogs post it states he/she needs to have access to outdoor space, and must not be homed with other dogs, then we need to see that where they are going to live does have these requirements and is not a top floor apartment with other dogs already living there.

It is a very simple process and we dont look through kitchen cupboards or rummage through your bins, so please do not feel we are there to judge you in any way, we just need to make sure that everything is what needs to be for yourself and your new pet.

Please feel free to get in touch with us if you would like more information regarding home checks

    Thank you
